RMHC and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House built in Philadelphia, Pa., and invite the Gulf Coast community to join us in a global social media movement.

Believing in the notion that nothing matters more than family,  we encourage individuals and groups from around the Gulf Coast to share their RMHC stories and experiences using #forRMHC. Inspired by the courage and hope of RMHC families, individuals will be joining countless others and incorporating red and white stripes – an iconic part of the RMHC logo – into their stories as a visual symbol of their support of all the families who have been touched by the Charity – from the Gulf Coast to across the globe.

We need your support #forRMHC. Follow RMHC Mobile on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube (@rmhcmobile). Then, starting on October 8, help tell the RMHC story by either sharing an RMHC picture, video or post with your social networks or share an RMHC story of your own. We’d love if you send us your photos in advance, too! Photos can be e-mailed here to be featured on website & social media.

If you feel really inspired, get your your red and white RMHC striped socks or gear, take a picture and post on-line with the #forRMHC hashtag. Together, we will create a movement powered by the compassion, hope and strength of our supporters and the families you help us serve - as Mobile’s very own Ronald McDonald House will celebrate it’s 15th anniversary in January 2015.
